Singapore, October 5: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday invited Singapore-based investors and business leaders to explore investment opportunities in the State, highlighting its industrial potential, rich natural resources and emerging sectors at the Singapore-India Network for Growth (SING) Forum 2026.
Addressing industry representatives at the forum, Sai said Chhattisgarh was no longer confined to its traditional identity as a mineral-rich State. With growing emphasis on technology, innovation and modern infrastructure, the State was emerging as a promising destination for global investment, he said.
The Chief Minister said the State government was working to combine its abundant natural resources with modern technology to build Chhattisgarh into one of the country’s leading industrial and investment destinations.
Focus on technology, logistics and green energy
Highlighting the scope for collaboration between Singapore and Chhattisgarh, Sai said Singapore’s expertise in technology, urban development and infrastructure could complement the State’s industrial strengths and create new avenues of growth.
Discussions at the forum covered potential cooperation in areas including technology and professional capability centres, logistics, green energy, industrial infrastructure and urban development.
Sai said the State government was committed to providing investors with a conducive policy environment and necessary institutional support. He emphasised that the partnership with Singapore should go beyond investment and contribute to employment generation, skill development and technology transfer in the State.
Chhattisgarh seeks deeper Singapore partnership
The Chief Minister also underlined the growing opportunities in sectors such as manufacturing, MSMEs and startups, besides emerging technology-driven industries.
He invited Singapore’s business community to become partners in Chhattisgarh’s development journey and take advantage of the opportunities being created by the State government.
The SING Forum 2026 is aimed at strengthening economic engagement between India and Singapore and creating opportunities for investment, technology collaboration and long-term business partnerships.
Sai’s Singapore visit comes as part of Chhattisgarh’s efforts to showcase its investment potential on an international platform and attract global capital, expertise and technology to accelerate industrial growth in the State.
