Chhattisgarh attracts Rs 43,250 crore FDI proposals at SING Forum, major data centre investment on cards

Singapore: Chhattisgarh has made a significant pitch for global digital investment, receiving FDI proposals worth Rs 43,250 crore at the first Singapore-India Network for Growth (SING) Forum 2026.
The biggest proposal is an investment of Rs 41,750 crore for a 100 MW hyperscale-ready data centre. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai formally handed over an ‘Invitation to Invest’ letter to Singapore-headquartered Energy Capital Global Pte Ltd for the proposed project.

The proposed 100 MW hyperscale data centre is being seen as a major step towards strengthening Chhattisgarh’s digital infrastructure. The project could help the State expand its presence in the data economy and attract technology companies and other digital businesses.
